Q) Why should I choose a pedal car for my child?
A) They promote cardiovascular exercise, besides they are GREAT FUN, and much safer than scooters, skateboards, skates, or rollerblades.
Q) Are they suitable for children to ride in?
A) Yes, they’re certified to be child safety approved, and they’re made of a heavy gauge
steel, they’re quite durable and will last for years, perhaps through several children.
Q) What are the risks or safety issues that I need to consider?
A) As with many outside toys, outdoor precautions need to be used (ie: sunblock, supervision, etc). The moving parts underneath the car required special attention to loose clothing or shoes.
Q) Are these accurate reproductions of the original cars?
A) Many of our cars are actually licensed by the manufacturer that made the real cars. For instance, our Mustangs were designed from the original tooling and Ford has licensed them. Our GT-350, has been endorsed by the original designer, Shelby.
Q) What if my child doesn’t want a just any old pedal car?
A) We have a variety of unique limited edition pedal mobiles, or pedal planes, pick-ups, tow trucks, police cruisers, pedal tow trucks, hot rods, fire engines, and even a motorcycle ride on.
Q) Is this like my old pedal car?
A) They are very close, the same approximate size, many with similiar styling, but some variations were necessary in order to meet today’s more stringent safety standards. We have many vintyage replicas like the Model T Roadsters and Jalopy Pedal Cars.
Q) What ages are appropriate for pedal mobiles?
A) For the younger crowd (age 2-5), we have the Scoot-A-Longs. Actual pedalized cars, trucks, planes, etc. are for the 3-7 age group.
Q) Is there any assembly required?
A) On some cars there is, one to two hours at most.
